Dr. Bayme – DMD – Esthetic dentistry
Dr. Jeffrey B. Bayme received a BS degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia. After receiving a doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1984, he completed a general practice residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Dr. Bayme was voted the #1 Cosmetic Dentist in Charleston by the Post & Courier for six consecutive years - from 2017 to 2022. He is continuously listed in the “Best Dentists in America.” He is a fellow in the American College of Dentists, an honorary organization for dentists whose membership includes only about 3.5% of dentists.
Since 1985, Dr. Bayme has served as a clinical instructor at MUSC’s College of Dental Medicine. He has had a special interest in esthetic dentistry since this rapidly progressing field was first being recognized.
Dr. Bayme is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Practice Administration, South Carolina Academy of Dental Practice Administration, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontices, Coastal District Dental Society, Charleston Dental Society, and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Bayme is an active fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honorary Dental Organization. He has participated in dental research and has been published on several occasions.

Dental Hygienist
Becky feels privileged to be a member of Dr. Bayme’s staff for over 30 years! Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to the Charleston area in 1989. With 40 years of dental hygiene experience, she is strongly committed to providing quality care and education to support patients and manage our patient’s total health. In her leisure time, Becky loves traveling with her husband. She most enjoys spending time with her adult son and daughter.
Dental Assistant
Shelly has been with our practice since 2005. She has 35 years of experience working as a dental assistant. She grew up in Ohio, where she received her formal education. In her free time, Shelly enjoys exploring new trails on her E-bike, traveling, spending time with her family, working in her yard and enjoying a good bottle of wine.
Dental Hygienist
Suzie’s 40 years of experience in dentistry includes being a hygienist as well as a dental assistant. She has served on the faculty at TTC in many capacities including teaching Fitness and Dental Hygiene. Suzie loves to share that passion with her patients.
Suzie and her husband live in Summerville, and together they have four sons. In her spare time Suzie enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends.
She has enjoyed working as a hygienist with Dr. Bayme for over 22 years.
Patient Care Coordinator /Dental Assistant
Sally began her dental career over 35 years ago as a dental assistant. She has been a proud part of Dr. Bayme’s team for over 7 years. Sally has lived in many places across the country but considers South Carolina home.
Her compassionate nature helps make patients feel at ease. Sally is passionate about dentistry and makes sure that our patients receive quality service and attention from our front office. In her free time, Sally enjoys live music, going to breweries, Jeep adventures and spending time outdoors with husband and her 13-year-old son. She also adores visiting her adult daughters, sons-in law and her two precious granddaughters.
Patient Care Coordinator
Mo has been a member of our dental family for almost a decade!
She graduated from the College of Charleston in 2006 with a degree in Early Childhood Education but transitioned to the dental field in 2014 and quickly fell in love with it.
Connecting with our patients and getting to know them beyond dentistry brings her joy, and she loves creating that sense of family.
Mo takes delight in coordinating treatment patients may need at our office or with a specialist and answering any questions patients may have to put them at ease and make matters seamless for them.
Outside of the office, Mo adores spending time with her family – especially at home. Baking and making treats with her two children make her the happiest!
Patient Care Coordinator
Jodie moved to the beautiful state of South Carolina from her home in Rhode Island when she followed the love of her life to the Lowcountry. She fell in love with Charleston and has made it her home for over 30 years. Jodie is a graduate of Bridgewater State University and worked managing dental practices for over 25 years until her retirement from that profession in 2019.
Jodie feels blessed to have been invited to join Dr. Bayme’s team in 2020, where she has been able to deliver world-class service to his dental practice family. Dr. Bayme’s philosophy and standard of care in building relationships with those who enter his office are right in line with her own. Jodie believes a beautiful smile is a healthy smile that builds confidence and changes lives. She finds it a joy to help change lives one smile at a time.
Dental Assistant
Judy began her dental career over 30 years ago. She has lived in South Carolina for 10 years and has been a part of Dr. Bayme’s team for 3 years.
Judy plays a key role in the office by helping Dr. Bayme with procedures. Behind her beautiful smile is a woman who is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and is dedicated to seeing that they are comfortable and that they have a positive experience.
In her spare time, Judy enjoys gardening, and spending time with her beloved fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat). She also loves cookouts and hanging out with friends and enjoys an occasional glass of wine.
