Dental Implants

Today’s dental implant designs look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Each dental implant is made from a hypoallergenic, biocompatible material that’s naturally attractive to the bone that surrounds it. This unique characteristic is what makes implants so successful for people who need to replace missing teeth. In fact, implants offer the highest success rate of any modern-day dental restoration (98-99%) with the ability to last for the rest of our patients’ lives.

About Dental Implants

How Dental Implants Work

Dental implants can be used independently or paired together to replace as few or many teeth as needed. Individual dental implants with a crown are ideal for single tooth replacement. At the same time, pairs of implants can anchor a multi-tooth dental bridge. If you need to restore an entire arch of teeth, as few as 4-6 implants can be used to anchor a permanent or stabilized prosthesis.

Since dental implants are non-invasive to other teeth in your mouth, they’re considered a preferred treatment for tooth replacement. Especially given that they are permanent, functional restorations that mimic natural teeth. We can place individual implants between healthy teeth, as opposed to anchoring a traditional fixed bridge or fitting you with a removable partial denture.

Benefits of Dental Implants

  •   Naturally strengthen your bone
  •   Promote a youthful, fuller facial profile
  •   Designed to last an entire lifetime
  •   Extremely high success rate
  •   No dietary restrictions
  •   Non-invasive to adjacent teeth

Caring for dental implants is simple, as they’re meant to be treated like natural teeth. Plan to brush and floss them daily, book regular checkups and cleanings, and you can typically expect each implant to last for the rest of your life.

Frequently asked questions

Are Dental Implants Right for Me?

If you have missing teeth and healthy bone tissues, dental implants may be an option. Dr. Bayme will want to evaluate your oral anatomy to ensure your mouth is healthy enough for implants and that there is adequate bone support. We use digital imaging to evaluate oral anatomy and bone density, ensuring a safe and minimally-invasive experience for each patient.

Depending on how many teeth need to be restored, Dr. Bayme will review the various treatment options—including the pros and cons of each—so that you can help co-plan your smile reconstruction.

Even if you’ve been told that dental implants aren’t an option, Dr. Bayme’s extensive experience allows us to reconstruct the smiles of people who might otherwise be out of options. Our goal is to help you enjoy the confidence of a full, complete, healthy smile.

Does it Hurt to Get Dental Implants?

Dental implant treatment is a minimally-invasive procedure that can be completed with just a small amount of numbing medication. Most people say that getting implants is easier than having a tooth removed.

Can I Afford Dental Implants?

We offer 0% interest financing and accept most insurance plans. Dental implants offer the best return on investment of any tooth-replacement since they can last a lifetime.

How Long Does Dental Implant Treatment Take?

The process of placing and restoring implants is spaced out over the course of at least 3-6 months to allow for complete bone integration.
