Cosmetic Veneers

Cosmetic dental veneers allow you to transform your entire smile for straighter, whiter teeth in just one or two visits. Cosmetic veneers are thin layers of porcelain or similar materials that we attach to the front of your most noticeable teeth. Unlike porcelain crowns or bonding, veneers are specifically designed to enhance healthy teeth to help them look more attractive.

A Complete Smile Transformation

Cosmetic dental veneers are minimalist—yet dramatic—aesthetic restorations that completely reshape your smile. Whether you want straighter, whiter, or fuller-looking teeth, Dr. Jeffrey Bayme can help you create the perfect smile you’ve always wanted.

Every veneer is a thin shell of material that is bonded directly over the front of the visible teeth in your smile zone. Depending on your characteristics, this may be anywhere from 6-10 veneers across your upper front teeth.

Traditional Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers offer the most dramatic transformation when it comes to smile makeovers in Charleston. These thin, durable, attractive restorations can be handcrafted to the exact shape, size, and color that you want. Placed side-by-side, your new veneers will create a smile that’s both bright and attractive in just a couple of visits.

Since porcelain is semi-translucent, it offers the most realistic coloring of all dental veneer options. The results are both natural-looking as well as highly attractive. The results are both natural looking as well as highly attractive. Additionally, porcelain is more durable and stain resistant, providing longlasting results that you can take with you for years.

What to Expect During Treatment

Our porcelain veneers process involves significant planning, digital imaging, and photography for maximum aesthetic results. We even create a model of your proposed new smile, allowing you to preview it prior to the lab crafting your permanent dental veneers. If you want to make any adjustments, we can do so prior to the final placement. Typically, anywhere from 2-3 appointments are required, spaced over the course of a few weeks.

No-Prep Lumineers

Zero-prep Lumineers are a reversible dental veneers design that bonds directly over the front of your natural teeth. The no-prep nature is extremely conservative yet offers full coverage for people who don’t require more extensive smile makeovers.

Composite Chairside Veneers

One of the most conservative options for specific teeth is a chairside veneer crafted from composite (similar to white fillings or dental bonding.) These restorations are best for isolated areas where one or two teeth require attention, but the adjacent teeth do not. Composite veneers can be placed in one appointment.

Planning Your Smile Makeover

Dental veneers are an essential part of smile makeovers, as they allow you to select the size, shape, and color of your new smile. You’ll play a key role in co-planning your smile design.
